Beginning of the 2023 ParisTech – CSC PhD campaign!
ParisTech and the China Scholarship Council (CSC) select since 2013, each year, about thirty Chinese PhD candidates wishing to carry out their thesis in one of the laboratories of the ParisTech schools. ParisTech’ selection campaign takes place between October and February.
ParisTech has been represented in China for more than 20 years. Its schools do not only recruit engineering students there, but also PhD candidates. Supported by the China Scholarship Council (CSC), the ParisTech – CSC PhD Program allows them indeed to recruit around thirty PhD candidates each year. The funding covers a stay of 36 to 48 months.
After collecting thesis proposals from the research directors of the laboratories of the ParisTech schools, nearly 95 proposals have already been put online this Monday, October 17. They cover fields as diverse as energy, environment, life sciences, chemistry, physics, mathematics, materials sciences, mechanics, optics, industrialization, or computer science.
The application deadline is December 11, 2022. If eligible, the students will be interviewed in January 2023. Interviews will be held remotely. In the meantime, applicants are strongly encouraged to contact the researchers whose proposals interest them. Applicants who are selected by ParisTech will then be invited to apply for a ParisTech – CSC scholarship. The list of recipients will be announced in May-June 2023.
ParisTech will organize a webinar on November 8, 2022, to present the program, the laboratories, and the thesis proposals to the candidates, and answer their questions. They will have the opportunity to discuss with representatives of ParisTech schools.
