Frédérique Vidal, ministre de l’enseignement supérieur, de la recherche et de l’innovation inaugure Chimie Pékin

During French President Emmanuel Macron State visit to China, January the 18th, Frédérique Vidal, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, inaugurated the Sino-French Institute « Chimie Pékin ». Christian Lerminiaux, President of Chimie ParisTech & Vice-President of ParisTech, and Prof. TAN Tianwei, President of Beijing University of Chemical Technology attended the ceremony. 

On the same day, a student from « Chimie Pékin » participated in a round-table on Climate Change and answered President Macron’s questions. After China-EU Institute for Clean And Renewable Energy (ICARE) launched in 2010 in Wuhan and SJTU-ParisTech Elite Institute of Technology created in 2012 in Shanghai, « Chimie Pékin » is the third Sino-French Institute led by a ParisTech School. « Chimie Pékin » is a joint initiative between Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Chimie ParisTech and Fédération Gay-Lussac (FGL). 60 students joined the Institute in September 2017.
