ParisTech launches the 2025 campaign for its international engineering recruitment program
On June 21, 2025, ParisTech will officially launch the latest edition of its ParisTech International Admission Program, a recruitment program for international students in science and engineering that has been recognized for over twenty years. Thanks to this program, the schools in the network attract scientific talent from the world's best universities every year.
Created in the early 2000s, the ParisTech International Admission Program aims to offer brilliant international students the opportunity to attend a top French engineering school and prepare for the Titre d'Ingénieur, an internationally recognized master's degree. This program is a strategic lever for supporting the internationalization of French engineering education.
A program that shapes the internationalization of the network
This program is based on a collective approach involving the six schools of the ParisTech network: AgroParisTech · Arts et Métiers · Chimie ParisTech – PSL · ESPCI Paris – PSL · Institut d’Optique · Mines Paris – PSL. Since its creation, it has enabled the development of an ambitious internationalization strategy through the establishment of solid academic partnerships, particularly in Asia, Latin America or Africa.
These trustworthy relationships forged with numerous partner universities and local institutional players enable ParisTech to identify students with high scientific potential who are motivated by the prospect of a demanding education in a multicultural environment.
A confirmed and growing appeal
Each year, nearly 90 international students join the network's schools after completing the selection process. This year, ParisTech aims to increase the number of applications by 20%, confirming the program's growing appeal.
The program is open to top students in their final year of a bachelor's degree in science or engineering. After registering on the dedicated platform, applicants take a common science test, followed by a motivational interview conducted by the schools. They then rank the schools in order of preference. Admission results are announced in early December, for enrollment the following academic year.
Training Globally-Minded Engineer
The ParisTech International Admission Program helps to diversify the student profiles recruited by the schools, while guaranteeing a high level of academic standards. It trains engineers who can build bridges between their home countries and France, and who are fully equipped to thrive in multicultural environments. This program also encourages many graduates to pursue a PhD, thereby contributing to the development of long-term scientific collaborations between French and international institutions.
Beyond recruitment, the program strengthens the relationships between ParisTech and leading universities in science, technology, and management around the world. It supports the development of cooperation in research and innovation, and actively promotes the French model of engineering education — one that is rooted in scientific excellence, international openness, and strong ties to the socio-economic world.
