The ParisTech network will launch its new international student admission campaign on 1 June 2024 in preparation for the 2025 academic year. The programme is open to bachelor level science and engineering students from all over the world.
Each year, the schools of the ParisTech network pools the recruitment of international students, particularly from historical partners in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and China, as part of the ParisTech International Admission Program. In recent years, the programme has been open to students from all over the world, particularly from Asia.
A unique programme of its kind, with a rigorous selection process that includes the examination of transcripts, a scientific test, a motivational interview, and even scientific orals, but which guarantees that the students recruited will be able to rub shoulders with the best students from around the world and join French students who have themselves undergone a rigorous selection process.
The ParisTech schools - AgroParisTech, Arts et Métiers, Chimie ParisTech - PSL, École des Ponts ParisTech, ESPCI Paris - PSL, Institut d'Optique, Mines Paris - PSL - welcome several dozen students from partner universities in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and China every year. No quota per country. The excellence of the candidate, the maturity of the professional project and its coherence with the study project take precedence. And of course, if the candidate does not speak French, his or her strong motivation to learn French a few months before arriving in France.
In fact, from the start of the school year in September 2025, the admitted students will enter the school directly in the second year of the engineering cycle, i.e. at master's level, to follow courses taught mainly in French.
The programme is open to outstanding science and technology or engineering students who will be in their final year of a Bachelor's degree from September 2024. Students submit a single application in which they in which they express their interest in one school or another, but retain all their chances of being admitted to one of the seven schools throughout the recruitment process.
Each year, around 35% of the students admitted benefit from a scholarship (e.g. Eiffel, French government scholarships, Erasmus+, BRAFITEC/BRAFAGRI, ARFITEC/ARFAGRI, school foundation scholarships, etc.).
Studying in France for two years and earning an engineering degree from one of the schools in the ParisTech network opens up extraordinary career opportunities. Whether students want to become engineers, researchers or managers, whether they want to work in their home country, in France or elsewhere, this engineering education will open countless doors.
The program is a unique opportunity to study in or near the center of Paris, to become a bicultural engineer by studying in French, to benefit from training that combines theory and practice (projects with companies, compulsory internships in France and/or abroad), to discover a very rich student and community life in the schools... and to discover Paris, France and Europe!
