Jean Philippe Vanot elected President of ParisTech

On Friday 31 May 2013, the Board of Directors at ParisTech elected Jean Philippe Vanot, President of ParisTech. He will officially take up his post on 1 September 2013.“I wish to contribute to the development of Higher Education and Research, as I am convinced that a French-style Grande École education, based on a multi-disciplinary approach to serving the needs of business, is a major asset for our country,” declared the new President.He will be replacing Yves Poilane, who has filled this position on a temporary basis since the departure of Cyrille van Effenterre in July 2012. Jean Philippe Vanot spent his career at the France Télécom-Orange Group.
