Coordinated recruitment in China

Chine SJTU

ParisTech is highly involved in China and has an office and a representative in Shanghai.

Many activities help develop the institution's commitment and the Grandes Écoles' impact in Asia.

The 50 engineers' programme - p50i

Known in China under the name "Programme 9+9"

This programme partners ParisTech with some of the major Chinese universities through partnership framework agreements:

Each year, nearly one hundred Chinese students with a Bachelor's degree are admitted via this programme.

The p50i system enables students from the prestigious universities to access double-degree, masters and doctorate programmes in the Grandes Écoles in the network.

ParisTech Shanghai Jiao Tong (SPEIT)

L'École d'ingénieurs ParisTech Shanghai Jiao Tong (SPEIT) was established under the strategic alliance of the ParisTech Institute and Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). Based on the French elite engineer education mode, we propose to students an elite education. Our four founding member Grandes Écoles (École Polytechnique, ENSTA ParisTech, MINES ParisTech and Telecom ParisTech) will guarantee the quality, the high requirement and the rigor.

The Reference Institute for EU-China Cooperation in the field of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (ICARE)

ICARE, the Institute for Clean and Renewable Energy, is the institute of higher education and research in the field of the energy efficiency and renewable energy of Huazhong University of Sciences & Technologies (HUST) located in Wuhan, China.

The European project is led by CEP-MINES ParisTech (Center for Energy and Processes) and coordinated by ParisTech. The consortium is composed of five European Universities, the International Office for Water, three Chinese Universities and two associated partners.

The Franco-Chinese Institute of Engineering and Management (IFCIM)

It contains the Chinese branch of the MBA from École des Ponts ParisTech (SIMBA), as well as six professional masters and two Advanced Masters. Each year, these Franco-Chinese courses are attended by about a hundred students for the MBA and about ten students for each of the masters. The IFCIM has the support of large French and Chinese companies.

Exchange programmes dedicated to training French engineers

ParisTech has implemented an exchange programme dedicated to training French engineers based on the Chinese model. Each year, about twenty students take advantage of this programme and leave for China to obtain a Chinese MSc degree at the partner universities.

Various bursary programmes are involved to carry out these activities:

Graduate students from the courses find employment opportunities within international companies or in the areas of higher education or research.
